Needed a HD extension cord with a horizontal plug to run dehumidifier and hose directly into walk-in shower. This did the job for 1/4 price in hardware stores.

If you’re familiar with AWG (American Wire Gauge) sizes, the smaller the gauge means a larger wire, and the more current they can handle. I was expecting a 12 or even better, a 10 gauge. However, this extension cord is only a 14 gauge, but it appears to be OK, with no hot spots where it meets the AC cord, and no hot spots where it plugs to the wall. For you folks not familiar with this, very warm is “NOT GOOD” and “HOT” is a house fire.

I’m running a 6,500 BTU window AC full time in 90+ degree weather. May the Force be with you.

I needed an extension cord for an Air Conditioner that we though would be safe. This worked really well – good quality, good price.
